I’ve been working with Courts for close to 18 months. I remember when we met she wanted to get my opinion on her physique with the intent to compete.

I remember telling her she had great structure, and our aim would be to pack on lean tissue in just the right places. If she worked hard then I was confident she could do some damage
on stage. Let’s just say based on her first season competing we well and truly blew it out of the water.🧨 💥

Courts dominated the ICN and INBA stage in bikini at state and national level.
Courts won:
🔹X8 Gold medals 🥇
🔹X2 silver medals 🥈
🔹X4 overall titles (including Miss Bikini Rookie Australia at the ICN National Championships)
🔹INBA Pro Card

To say her achievements this season were epic is an understatement. Now we set our sights on a solid offseason to grow. If you thought this season was impressive wait till Courts version 2.0 hits the stage!!

I have nothing but respect and admiration for you Courts. You follow everything to a tee, work your ass off and have developed a champion mindset. I’m very proud of you 🫶🥹

How hard should should you train??

If we are talking about intensity there are a range of variables to consider. Your underlining goals, nutrition, injuries, sports specific activities the list goes on.

Talking from purely a hypotrophy (muscle building) perspective then there are few things to consider. Ultimately higher mechanical load (weight lifted) is undoubtedly one of the best approaches. But it’s now well established that lighter loads with higher volume can produce similar hypertrophic adaptations to heavy load training. The key here is taking the sets to safe failure. But this approach whilst valid does also need some consideration. Session duration, frequency, potential overuse etc. all need to be factored in.

I’m a big believer in order to grow you need to train hard but smart. A good mix of high volume, heavy load, increased metabolic stress and including other intensification techniques are very effective especially when designed correctly into your training block.

Quality programming (and of course nutrition) can effectively build quality lean muscle and strength safely and consistently without risk of injury. The key here is “quality programming”.

Yep you can certainly grab a free program from the web and hook in. But thinking about the elements above, how well do you think they will satisfy your individual needs/goals???? 🧐

So should you want to make the most efficient use of your time and money then invest in yourself by engaging a qualified and proven professional to design a bespoke plan for you.

Trust me, your growth on all fronts from the physical to educational will accelerate exponentially.

Client Spotlight: @missannafitness

Anna joined the team part way through her prep this season with the goal to improve her physique and performance from last season.

And improve we did on an epic scale! 🥇

Anna competed in a number of natural shows in the ICN and INBA. Anna took out a swag of titles and medals including overall Champion Miss Fitness Model at @icn_act She also recently won her INBA Pro Card at an international @inbapnba.nz_official event in New Zealand for Miss Wellness!!! 🔥🔥🔥

Life threw some curve balls this season for Anna but to her credit she kept grinding and had a terrific season competing.
